Nathalie Nikolai is an interior designer and the founder of N.J. Interiors, based in Berlin. Together with her team, she creates exceptional homes and private residences across Europe. Her work is defined by timeless elegance, beautiful materials and a refined sense of atmosphere and detail.
Her approach to design is shaped by an international background and experience across different creative disciplines. After studying textile and fashion design in Munich, she completed a Master of Fine Arts in London and gained valuable experience at Marc Jacobs in Paris and Foster + Partners in London.
Founded in 2019, N.J. Interiors brings together the different influences of Nathalie’s creative journey. Her experience in fashion, architecture, art and furniture design informs her distinctive perspective, resulting in interiors that look beyond passing trends and retain their beauty and relevance over time.

HOW WE WORK
Bespoke design is an integral part of N.J. Interiors’ approach. Many of the furniture pieces are designed by Nathalie specifically for each project and made to measure. These carefully developed designs become unique pieces, celebrating craftsmanship and giving each interior its own distinctive character.
Nathalie Nikolai begins every project by getting to know the people who will live in the space, understanding the atmosphere they wish to create and the character of the place itself. Her aim is to create interiors that feel considered and balanced, while expressing both elegance and personality.
From the initial idea through to completion, N.J. Interiors oversees every stage of the process. Working closely with clients, we develop the concept, guide key decisions and coordinate schedules, trades and all aspects of the project. This allows our clients to enjoy a seamless experience, while we keep time, budget and execution firmly on track.
The result is an interior of timeless elegance, offering a sense of calm and grace while meeting the needs of everyday life and standing the test of time.
